Chick-fil-A Cow Appreciation Day 2017

Dress your whole herd for free food

There are so many ways Chick-Fil-A rewards its customers, from the Chick-fil-A Cow Calendar to its rewards for using the Chick-fil-A One app. But Cow Appreciation Day is definitely the most fun!

If you don’t mind dressing like a cow- or at least wearing some type of cow accessory- you can get a free entree on Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A!

This year’s Cow Appreciation Day is Tuesday, July 11, 2017.

Chick-fil-A began Cow Appreciation Day in 2005, and I’m pretty sure my family and I have celebrated it as if it were a national holiday every year since. I even took my oldest son when he was only about six months old. It was just me and him, and he wore a cow onesie! (Pro tip: Sharpie + white onesie = baby calf.)

Besides the obvious perk of free food, it’s fun being with a crowd of people who love Chick-fil-A as much as I do- and don’t mind being totally silly.

Here’s what you need to know about Cow Appreciation Day 2017. Things are a little different this year.

  1. Hours: July 11, 2017, from restaurant opening until 7 p.m.
  2. Requirements for free entree: Wear some type of cow accessory. Whether you wear cow ears or an entire cow ensemble, you only get one entree per person. Kids get a free Kids Meal, though!
  3. Although most items are included in the freebies, including the new Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Chicken Sandwich, some are excluded this year, like the entree salads. Check out the list of included items here.

Have a very happy Cow Appreciation Day!
